Only one ship per nation showed up to fight over this week's 10 million credit prize. Espionage crashed the first attempt, so we regrouped and started over elsewhere. The Itani "team" ultimately won and took home the cookies.

Only those who are on-time are allowed to participate.
You may not start fighting until the host signals the start of the battle - this includes the 15 minute period prior to the planned starting time.
You may not return to the battle sector after you have left except to observe from a healthy distance in an EC-88 or EC-89.
No running from the asteroid field.
The last team standing wins.

My event is uncrashable. And I didn't crash it I asked him to wait for 5 minutes while I travelled to participate and when I turned up they had started without me. This made me angry.
Further, I've held up my event with everyones consent to let spidey get his duel on.

Perhaps Nation war turn-outs wouldn't be so pathetic if we got a host that was willing to actually help people participate instead of excluding them for being 2 mins late?

I don't remember you asking me to wait (though I could be mistaken), but I certainly didn't imply that I would.
Nation War starts at 20:00 GMT. That is the time by which you should already be there, not the time at which you should start traveling. The rest of us have better things to do than twiddle our thumbs while people straggle in from three systems away. I won't inconvenience those who are on time in order to accommodate laggards.
