Dear Diary,
Well, as the 'Verse was pretty quiet, most of today was spent farming and ironing the remaining kinks out of the new control set-up. The new config caused a few close calls vs the local Arklans, but I'm very happy with the over-all results.
For some further practice, I took a Centurion up to the B-5 tube, and managed several new PB's, shaving about 10 seconds off my previous PB, with my best time now just over 1:09. Still a ways off the top 5, but I'm closing in...
I also had a chance to face off with Ritter at the Dueling Ground, and while he bested me, it was a closer fight than our previous duels.
Global comm chatter revealed my unofficial mentor, TheRedSpy, has become the new FAMY enforcer (in the wake of yoadofborg vacating that role within the mafia organization). Not sure what to make of this, but as he had a bounty on his head, I tracked him down, issued my usual challenge, and attempted to claim said bounty. After several attempts (damned Aerna Seekers kept butting in, causing the duels to abort, and stealing the kill-shot from me) but eventually, I prevailed, and while the duel was again aborted due to Seeker interference, I claimed my first bounty :)
Overall, a quiet, but productive day :)

Quiet day today, so I spent longer than usual farming, then decided to rid grey-space of queens in the hope of a Levi-hunt later (alas, such was not to be...), and after eliminating the queens, I carried on with other hive skirmishes.
Whilst I was leaving Sedina D-14, I meet Aton Clavan, and we went a few rounds, with Aton proving the more skilled duelist over all, winning three out of five of our bouts.
And, so, back to skirmishes it was, and by the end of the night, I'd cleared grey-space of all skirmishes bar the Levi's hang-out. I had a go there too, but without wingmates I focused simply on bombing the groupie queens.
On a plus note, I earned two new licences tonight, attaining Combat 9, and Heavy Weapons 11.

TheRedSpy did make it a lil' easier for me, by not making me have to chase him down. I just wish the Seekers had minded their own business, and not interfered with (an thus aborting) the duels... Ah well, next time ;)
