First [TRI] Auction Event
Greetings VOians, from [TRI]dent Capital Manufacturing Group! I'm pleased to announce that we are nearly ready to host our first auction even, open to all who wish to participate. This will be [TRI]'s first official auction event and will be our first collaborative effort as a manufacturing guild.
I was originally planning to auction off just one Milanar Master Computer to the highest bidder to boost the bank, but decided recently it would be a better idea to get together a few 'bundles' and auction them at the same time. These 'bundles' will be available to bid on:
- Milanar Master Computing System (1)
- Corvus Widowmaker (200)
- Milanar Optical Sensor (1)
- BioCom Miniature Tellar-Ulam Mine (undetermined amount)
What will happen is, soon i will make an update to this post giving an exact DATE, TIME, and CHANNEL for the auction to be held. We will start by naming the item(s) and the starting price, then beginning the bidding. The bidding will work in a first-to-post fashion where once the auctioner says a price, the next person to set a higher price in the chatbox wins the round, then the bidding starts again when the auctioner states the new bid/bidder. Here is an examle of what the auction-through-chatbox will look like:
<Neon Black> One box of prime Cuban cigarillos. We will start the bidding @ 14,000c
<Random Dude> 14,250
<Fat Chix Rule> 14,300
<Neon Black> The bid stands at 14,250 with "Random Dude".
<Fat Chix Rule> 14,300
<Neon Black> We're at 14.3k with "Fat Chix Rule".
<Farts McFly> 15,000
<Random Dude> 15,000
<Neon Black> Now i see 15k, with "Farts McFly".
and so on....
The list is small, yes. And it's not much in terms of Trident parts. But again, this is our first attempt as a guild to manufacture collectively and it is a small step toward a much larger picture. Once we gain some capital through these events, and our numbers increase in the guild itself, we will have more to work with and will begin fulfilling private contracts as well as stocking capship parts for direct purchase.
I hope to see a large turnout and I hope all you players enjoy our event. I will update this post as soon as I know when exactly the auction will be held. Have fun out there guys and girls, and see you in the verse! =)
