NW 291 Results
Nation War
Fifth week of being the host, actually got to host from home which was nice, and meant I could actually use the announcer plugin... because it crashed the client on my laptop. I think it's a windows thing, and am going to try to use it on Ubuntu to see if that helps.
We had a couple players that don't always participate pop me during NW, Lisa201 and Gruumsh. They are not disqualified because I don't believe it was on purpose... but I have written it everywhere that I am not participating and please not to shoot me. I know I stay close, but it's because with the new sector limits I continuously do sector list dumps throughout the fight, so if someone tries to jump back in it's possible to prove. (Not a absolute method I know, but the best I can think of.) I don't fire weapons, and a majority of the time I am completely still and away from the main furball.
Because of the grey team restrictions 2 players fought unaligned, I know having that restriction may mean that grey is never a very populated team. But there has to be something to just keep everyone joining grey just because they belong to guilds that have members of all factions. If you have a better idea feel free to share it.
In the end the Itani won for the second week in a row claiming the 15 million credit prize.

Basic Rules
Only those who are on-time are allowed to participate.
Participants must be on their nation's team regardless of fraction standing unless a grey team is allowed that week in which you may fight for grey if you are not a nationalist of your nation. Must be hated -800 in order to qualify for grey.
Group leaders will receive a msg from the host letting them know what sector NW is in, and will have to convey it to their groups.
You may not start fighting until the host signals the start of the battle - this includes the 15 minute period prior to the planned starting time.
You may not return to the battle sector after you have left except to observe from a healthy distance in a bus.
No running from the asteroid field.
The last team standing wins.

Hmm.. if you can get an error message out of that announcer plugin (possibly pulled from the errors.log file), hook me up with it and I'll see if I can sort it out.
