Next Sat July 30th at 20:00 GMT Vendetta On-Air will be hosting the 113th Deneb Run.
Come welcome the return of this traditional race. And be sure that you have a shoutcast player as Vendetta On-Air, VO's online radio station will be launching that same day and commenting on the race as it progresses.
All ships are allowed this week.
No entry Fee is required.
Race begins at Odia M-14 and goes through Serco then Itani space (in that order), first 3 to dock back at Odia M-14 win.
Standing is your choice to participate, there are no requirements for good/bad standing.
5mil=1st Place
3mil=2nd Place
1mil=3rd Place
You must register by /msg thelazydj at least an hour before the event, and make sure I confirm your registration with a reply.
You must be in the race group during the event, leaving group will be automatic disqualification.
You also must be homed at Odia M-14 during the event in order to help prevent cutting corners.
Come participate and be ready for the dangers and excitement of rats, boarder turrets, and other racers as the Deneb Run is back.
EMS and VPR are welcome to come and assist the event/racers.

will there be mandatory information taken from ship, ie. weapons, batteries, turrets, people in turrets.

I guess I should, seeing how much work has been listed on the wiki with past runs, and how I'm picking up with 113 from the last run listed there.
So yes, I will collect ship and loadout info and write it in my handy dandy notebook and put it on the wiki after the race.

Is switching out ships in the middle of the race allowed?

Will pirates receive 3rd/2nd/1st prizes for killing the participants as they have in past runs?

No prizes for pirates killing racers, and no prizes for killing pirates, both sides act on their own accord, or in accordance with an obligation between then and the racer.
Things may change as this race and others like it become a regular event. And anyone who is familiar with the past races is welcome to give me a history lesson on how they were ran, and what made things fair and possible to track.

Maxx Metal: 28.13
Ipslet/Breazle: 29.01
Ipslet would have been slightly before me since he came second but he wasnt in my group so dont have logs. We were both in M-14 together though so close enough.
2 seconds before i docked arf died meters away from the docking bay so that would have been close.
Streusel was very close he also wasn't in my group so not sure what happened there

We had a total of 12 Racers at the race, a very good turn out I believe.
I received the infamous Streusel is having issues message and he did confirm death by asteroid...
That being said it looked like enough flares hit Arf at the dock to cause that whole side of the station to explode (had it been possible)
But thanks to everyone no matter what the role for making it an exciting race.
