Poll time. What is the longest 1v1 you have ever been in? I usually do not keep track but Nahin pointed out (iirc) that our fight yesterday took 28 minutes. A dubious achievement, I know, but it made me wonder what the record is. Tag yer it.

I believe my longest fight was around three or four minutes... might have been with Growlor or someone from ONE... I really don't recall.

Mine was with Zoltan Szabo, it lasted for over 30 minutes. It ended up being a draw.

Yeah, I can't remember how long ours used to go, Maal. Some of the longest I can remember were a couple duels with sheff, distance controlling his prom in my vult, that definitely made it over 20 minutes. But those aren't as exciting. :P

Meh, long fights are usually either ridiculous and/or boring. But the best fights I've ever had were against Ghost and Nerde Verde. With Ghost it seemed every fight ended differently.

I hate long fights :( I think my longest fight was with Niut, not sure how much it took, maybe 15 min...

I would prefer a post on quick fights and instant kills : )

Longest fight was about 30 min. To my defence though, I was armed with mining beams and the roid didn't shoot back.

Nerde and popcorn routinely went past 5 minutes, some longer than 10. Storm of Silence always took for freaking ever.

I'd say my longest was probably ~15 minutes, though. 28 minutes is epic.

not entirely sure if it was that long but i'm 100% sure i've done a few 15+ all energy vult vs vult fights.

in beta i had one duel with some pretentious newb who said he could beat anyone for some reason. so we had a gauss vult duel!

I don't think I've had any fights longer than 5-8 minutes or so. I'm too aggressive for most of my fights to drag on very long.

I've had some long ones, a few with a-dawg i know went over 20 minutes. I know some of them i had with shape went on for a while too.

My longest though would probably be a busgun fight with theblackflag, we went to an empty sector, in black cv's with the background and hud turned off. It took well over half an hour.

Some of the fights we used to have with pre-nerf IBGs vs pre-nerf SCP's used to take 10-20 minutes each. But yeah, 28 minutes is hand cramp time.

Gauss vult duels ftw! Fights with that config rarely last longer than 30 seconds.

I once had a duel with PickAxePete in moths using ion blasters where we declared a truce, went to go get drinks, and came back to finish up.

Probably shoulda timed it. It was easily a half hour.
