The thing about having a merc guild however is having a lot of reputation for er being able to not just simply kill things but keep things from being killed and also running interference and a lot of various dealings that can be quite specific. Versatility is very key because it wouldn't be er b-8 carebear dueling and there simply is no honor in it so you shouldn't try to protect your public image from being seen as vile, if anything that helps.

As hard as it is to make guilds work in vo anymore because of the lack of consistent players and the bunch of morons that never play anymore because their guilds sucked and try to paint the same colors on your guild. So basically ignore them always and regardless of success or failure discount anything they have to say because they are about as productive as dell tech support. So more power to you for trying to actually do something fun in the game than lets say be a complete critical idiot with a mouth full of diarrhea on a forum and irc.

So go for it and ignore these tools.

Thanks for your encouragement Mecha. I know you would be a great addition to the guild. A few unnamed guilds have already tested the waters, and we are on our way to having regular customers. So far, 2 more jobs have been completed, and another 2 members have joined (one of which is subbed)

My grandfather has some pills that will help make Mecha more regular.

Your right, mecha isn't regular. Unless I'm mistaken, he has the most pks of any VO player, and so hes an Elite class member of the guild and a council member. I'm still a Member class so currently hes the highest class ranked member.

Unfortunately that kind of statistics suffer because some older players are on their third or fourth incarnation of the same character.

Strat has the most PKs of any character at the moment.

Correct, Strat has the title now if I remember correct. I held the title of the most player kills for a long while but got bored because it seemed like i was fighting the same person no matter how many different pilots I fought. And there was a point where no one could defeat me to which in a matter of a month or so I began my forseable decline. Such is the unfortunate destination of the better combat veteran in this game I have noticed. A trend I followed like the rest.

I still fly around the game every now and then, but for the most part I'm too busy to play anymore and I've lost interest. The possible merc work is the only thing that might make it fun again.

I'm working 4pm to 1am right now and the rest of society is normal. It conflicts with my time that is available so basically what little time I have is crammed into other things.

Though tomorrow/today I have the day off so we'll see.
