The Itani military, who saw that he would be valuable to them, took him in. Pyro gradually progressed in rank, and now, at the age of 20, is the captain of the Itani frigate Glory, a weapons testbed. Pyro enjoys using heavy weapons, and greatly prefers fighting in capital ships, but is a decent fighter pilot when the need arises. While the bodies of his mother and father were found and buried, that of his sister was never recovered. From what he can remember of her, she loved to build new things, and was quite ingenious. If still living today, she would be about two years younger than him…

Bio: During his youth, Tyr grew up aboard the cargo freighter Hope. When he was 15, the Hope was attacked by pirates. The Hope jettisoned its cargo, as the pirates had said that they would take the cargo and leave. However, after taking the cargo, the pirates turned around and destroyed the Hope, leaving Tyr floating in an escape pod. He drifted for months, living off MREs, until he landed on the Itani homeworld. Having no remaining family and unable to find a job as a freighter pilot due to the economy, he joined up with the Itani nation military.
After 10 years of service, he left to found the United Nations Police Force, or UNPF, with Mordok, who [insert explanation of how Mordok and Tyr came to know each other here]. The UNPF’s main goal is to fight pirates, while also helping new pilots and those who have been attacked by pirates. Due to his prior experience, Tyr has a personal vendetta against dishonorable pirates. Unfortunately, they have been growing in strength, and only a few honorable pirates, who Tyr is willing to ally with against the dishonorable ones, remain. The UNPF has frequent fights with the EiG clan, and is on friendly terms with the Syndicate, as they enforce a code of honor for pirates. Additionally, the UNPF sometimes hires the Erinyes to eliminate pirates who the UNPF cannot kill. The UNPF is based in sector 7, and frequently holds meetings over dinner at the Saturnine Bar.

Bio: Mark Strike was born on a non important moon named Janio IV in Serco space. He started his criminal career early in life, going to the SJCF (Serco Juivineal Correctional Facility) no less then seven times, starting at the age of nine. The eighth time he was caught in a criminal act (stealing plasma injectors from the school busses)he was sent to the Traiken Penal Colony. He was only 16 at the time.
In the TPC he honed his skills as a charismatic and dangerous leader. He convinced several his fellow inmates and one security guard to help him with an escape plot, and escape they did. Only two of the inmates and the security guard survived the effort.
The security guard was a troubled young woman named Janelle Mandle, who was fascinated to meet someone whos appetite for destruction surpassed even her own. She quickly rose to second in command of Mark's motley crew. The two surviving ex-inmates (Mugs Trasellie and Keen Trasellie) were brothers, called "dumb" and "dumber" by Mark, although in an affectionate manner. They are intensely loyal, one a skilled mechanic and the other an ex-enforcer for the Mekialii Cartel.
Mark then marauded and murdered his way across Sercan Space, collecting even more additions to his rebel band. As they required more and more supplys, personal, and notoriety the Sercan Media had a field day, making thier acts sound like those of heroic freedom fighters, as well as romanticizing the relationship between Mark and Janelle (No concrete evediance of how far thier relationship goes has ever been found or confirmed). It is widely suspected in the Sercan Security Forcers that Mark manipulated the media in order to gain public support and to strike back at the Sercan Government. It was around this time that Mark became known as the "Homestar Runner" a man who the media portrayed as someone trying to lead his "in justly-prisoned" and downtrodden common people to find a new home.
The SSF was not about to take any of this lying down. They managed to infiltrate one of their best and brightest officers into Homestar's group. The undercover officer then started an affair with Mugs and Keen Trasellie's sister (Kimi Trasellie), bringing him even closer to the power network that controlled Homstar's gang. On the day of their wedding the officer alerted the SSF, who came crashing in with a full legion of shock troops. The undercover officer killed Keen Trasellie in the ensuing fight, in full view of Kimi Trasellie.
Homstar's forces where devastated. It was only through Mug's quick reflexes that he and Janelle survived the affiar at all, fleeing with Mugs and Kimi Trasellie to Itani Space. The affair made the undercover agent an overnight celeberty, and he was promoted and continues to lead the task force that hunts Homestar to this very day. They were almost caught again several times, but they eventually made it into Itani Space, were they took refuge at a Church of Universal Chaos in Mekia.
It is known that the church's doctrines had a heavy influance on Homstar and Janelle, and they added a new member to their group during their stay there. He is only known as "The Dark Father" and no further information is available.
The Itani media went crazy when it was eventually discovered that Homestar was staying in Itani Space, and made it seem like he just arrived, with a mob of Sercan oppressors behind him, when in truth he has been staying at the CoUC for some team before he was found out.
The Itani Police Force promptly took advantage of this media interest, and several 3d holophotos of Homestar shaking hands with prominent Itani Police leaders are on file. It wasn't long before the Mekian Mayor was getting photo ops with Homestar as well. Even the mayor got pushed aside, however, when the Itani President decided to grab a few commoner votes by issuing an official proclamation of amnesty and protection for Homestar and his friends.
The tactic worked. He was relected in a landslide win. The Itani President didnt stop there, however. After his political party took a heavy bruising over the NeoIowa Trade scandel (known to the popular media as Iowa-Gate), he was in a desperate position. He needed to act, and needed to act fast before he ended up being thrown out of office, or even worse, thrown in one of his own prisons. During a brainstorm he came up with one of the worst ideas ever to be thought up. He envoked the ancient Law of Marque, nameing Homestar as its recipient.
The law states that "The individual receiving this permit will be free of any and all repercussions of Itani Trade Laws, and be not affected by Itani Piracy Laws provided a) the ships and/or crews damaged are not of Itani origin and that b)that the permit recipient pays a 3% Federal Tax.
The law goes into more details, but those details are beyond the scope of this document. Basically it entitled Homestar to buy Itani Military class equipment and to use it freely on anything not Itani in origin.
The President never imagined Homestar would actually use the thing, it was only meant to get him the much needed popular support. He got the support, but he got something else as well.
Within a month Homestar and his crew had borrowed a substantial amount of money from investors and purchased no less then nine top of the line, new prototype models of the dreaded Itani Valkyrie class fighter craft.
Itani and Neutral relations have never been the same sense.
Summary: Homestar is a dangerous and charsimatic sociopath, with skills in leadership and manipulation. Although he will not hesitate to break the law, he will abuse the letter of it to achieve his goals as well. When he is apprehended he is NOT ALLOWED TO BE NEAR ANY HOLOCAMERAS OR NEWS CREWS!

His father never really broke through as a trader - but he passed all of his knowledge on to Joe in hope of him to do better. In the age of 10 Joe's father started to take Joe with him on the small routes to learn him the ways of flying and navigation. One day his father left their small homeport with a rather sad and nervous look on his face. Joe didn't quite understand why, but he felt something were wrong. When he had left his mother told Joe that the Neutral Territories were going to war - and since that were his fathers origin, he had to sign up there as a fighterpilot. The leaders of NT never reported back on whether Kurt was still alive or not, though it was requested. Because of that, Joe and his mother awaited Kurts homecoming for several years... without any luck. When Joe reached the age of 22, he decided to join the NT-tradingpilots in hope of finding his father out there. Joe had a real hard time both in his training and futher assignments - and were kicked from the NT trading group for loosing cargo of great importance to the roaming pirates and other nations figtherpilots. In his anger towards the commandants that kicked him, he stole one of the nation marauders and left - and took upon him the alias of BusMasteR GT. Through time he developed to be a rather fine trader and navigator and the nation of NT finally accepted him - though he wouldn't be a part of the forces, he still participated in some missions of importance to himself. Later on, he were hired "per job" by the NT trading group to supply newcomers with basic training and the alike.
