Itan is pathetic.

Itan is a sorry excuse for a guild. The only two members that log on are Greenwall (who uses a SCP because he can't put up a rats ass of a chance with anything else) and Waffles of Soggy. Waffles tried, to no avail, to stop our blockade in Edras, only to be slaughtered relentlessly. How can Itan stand by and watch one of their own die over and over? I guess that is the smurf way. We've collected quite a few smurf livers the past couple of days with no opposition. If you would like them back, come take them.

Where's skv when you need them. :)

ITAN hasn't quite been the same since LeberMac left the guild. Sure, it may be mocked, but it used to be passably competent once upon a time. When the drunkard left the guild, I guess all the good pilots just lost interest or moved to SKV because ITAN just wasn't fun anymore. Losing the life of the party tends to do that.

While I'll admit that Greenwall's use of an exclusively Serco craft is somewhat hypocritical, its hardly unprecedented. Anyone remember how Dr. Lecter used to hound the smurfs in Valkyries during his SCAR days? As for Waffles, I chalk it up to him being hopelessly outnumbered. Poor guy has been slogging on with minimal (if any) support for a long time now; deserves a commendation more than ridicule.

Still, as Chaosis points out: "Where is SKV when you need them?"

Where'd Spidey run off to?

SKV is still keeping tabs on the game. Last time we returned with moderate force (there were 3 or 4 of us active a few months back) the Serco disappeared from grey. Having a lack of targets, SKV pilots got bored and went back into seclusion. I myself was subscribed just last month and spent my time flying back and forth from deneb to greyspace looking for Serco. On occasion I found one or two. Boring myself to death sitting in an empty B8 for too long or shooting NPCs in Deneb, I unsubbed again.

Whenever SKV comes back, we tend to generate a lot of complaints and as a result people start to disappear from grey again. When we play, we play Vendetta like it used to be. This is: If you see someone from the opposing team, you kill him. Maybe you hail him, maybe not, but you definitely kill him. There is no, "Hey, you want to fight?"

From my experience of the current Vendetta, everyone just sits around asking for fights (thats when there are actually people in B8) and when they're attacked without a polite request for an engagement, they get upset and stop coming back for fights. Yes, we encourage 1 v 1's whenever we can in order to make it more fun for everyone, but if the situation calls for it (a guild war or BS or BP or NW or anything of the like where combat actually matters) we will gank the shit out of you and would expect you to do the same in return. This is the way that Vendetta used to be played and IMHO is infinitely more fun. However, people don't seem to see it that way at the moment and as a result, get frustrated with our play style and stop coming back for fights. Once people stop coming back for fights, we get bored and unsub again. It's a viscous circle!

So if there is an organized Serco force that is ACTIVE IN GREY OR DENEB, has a fair amount of active players and is ready for an unrestrained fight, ready to do what it takes to win and expecting to have the same done to them, then we might look into becoming active again.

If SKV logs into the game we will gank and slaughter every one of them just like the rest of the pathetic smurfs.

Aye Ghost, those days are old and glorious and sadly gone... Pilots have lost their fangs and now hide behind forum trolling or mining and trading. I have recently requested to join a serco faction that has the mindset to kill all enemies and hope that I can offer some growth. However there needs to be worthy targets *hint hint*

Aye, I'll agree that when I played back in the alpha days 1 on 1 fights were actually extremely rare. Most of the time it was furballs or 2 on 1, or people mining stations... It all had an element of frustration sometimes, but most the time it was alot of fun. And you had to learn PvP fast or you'd be mince meat heh.

Last time I saw Ritter and ONE they were teaming up with ITAN to fight pirates. Pot, kettle, make little tea cup children.

The lot of you are sorry excuses for nationalists.

This is the way it is fucking supposed to be.

@Imp: ONE no longer work together with ITAN to fight rats. Was a tense relationship while it lasted anyways. SaS is the next attempt at SCAR from what I gather... but you knew that.

As for enemies just attacking each other... that has absolutely not stopped. B8 tends to be slightly more polite on average, but it's far from immune.

@atice - Every one in ONE who is now in SAS is tainted. They all cooperated with Itani, changing their tag isn't going to change that.

Heh. Someone likes to hold a grudge.

Anyways, Spidey, get your ass back ingame.

The vets have grown old and have passed away or traded in their fangs for a soap box. Some of us still fight the old way, while others are forum trolls or miners and 100 trolls. And then some are just sleeping and waiting for this polite political warfare to die a miserable death so they can do what they do best. Fight.
