and yay, I got the positron weapon for 10 queen kills...but after testing it in the last two skirmishes I've to admit that it isn't that cool...there are better weapons for the large pot.

You kidding? The mega posi is arguably the best energy weapon in the game. It has the perfect balance of DPE, DPS, weight, and shot velocity.

the problem is, for a good loadout you would need 2 posis. But there is no small fighter which can carry 2 posis and on the rag it's worthless because it is not a fighter but a missile/rocket dropper.

so there is no real use for it. (IMHO)

Destructor, try a flare + megaposi or just a small port positron(AAP or hive positron) or even a n2 on a warthog, that can kick ass.
I'll reiterate what Shank said earlier, it's one of the best energy weapons in game.

Not to mention its prowess as an energy bombing weapon, or the best possible large port choice on an interceptor (mainly because of the weight, DPE, and DPS).

I find the Annie/Dev/Elim much better for BOT KILLILNG. Mega posi rocks in PvP, you don't really understand the beauty of it unless you're a big PvPer.

I dunno bout that.
1) The mega posi is the best energy weapon against shields
2) It has a much longer range against bots than the Annie/Dev/Elim and when you kill the bot you still have enough energy to turn around and take out the other bot behind you :D
3) The damned thing chews up convoys like they're taffy... mmmm...
