NW #205

Feb 07, 2010 Maalik link
I stopped hosting because I was going to stop playing but I decided to stick around when I found out that conquerable stations were going to be added. As Capture the Station has so far failed to eclipse the fun I have with NW, I will start hosting again for myself and anyone else that enjoys the event's format while we wait for territorial conquest mechanics to mature.

I'll hold it at the usual time and place (Sunday 2100 GMT Sedina D2) unless there are any strong objections.

Peace,
~Maalik

Same rules as always except swarms/l-mines will be allowed again, I assume?

Yes, Chaakin.

Good to know this is still being kept up. :)

Has anyone even tried swarms/l-mines in the NW since we tried making them legal yet? I'd love to see a valk jock try to run then slip over an l-mine trap.

No one has tried swarms or lmines yet.

Also, *bump*

my personal preferance is for prox mines cause you can damage several ships at once with them. they play havoc with groups of revc's

Can I bring my Teller Ulam mine?
Feb 14, 2010 Maalik link
People are welcome to try to change my mind, but even with the crafting mission I still think that they are too hard to get.

Oh, I just got a great idea.

Teller Ulam + Hound + Hev bat.

Not gonna be pretty out there...

Teller Ulam + Hound + Hev bat.

That would accelerate approximately as fast as a behemoth.

A strange Nation War.

Teams took loses fairly evenly and it came down to, at the end, three pilots, all orbiting near death. Ultimately, I won for the Grey team but Denji or Niut could easily have been the one who survived instead.

We had some trouble with newbs filtering randomly at the start and not knowing the usual protocol. Hopefully they were there because of new event announcement system. I'll email Incarnate with better details so hopefully the confusion will be lessened next time.

Thanks to everyone who came out! :)

I thought the fight between Denji,Maalik and I at the end was awesome, been a long time since I've had a fight where I was sweating and shaking due to adrenaline =P

What'choo talkin' 'bout, Willis?
Feb 21, 2010 ShankTank link
Sounded pretty epic.

It was. They fought so long I went from Jallik back to Sedina, and made a few trips between Sedina and Latos while they fought.

Thanks Maalik.
