1) are AGT-Flare-proms still uber?
2) have they nerf the flares yet?
3) why are there nobody at Sedina b8 to play shooty shoot with?

1 & 2) I don't think they have been changed since Sedina B-8 was declared the unofficial dueling ring of the universe, although whether or not they're "uber" is up for debate.
3) I don't necessarily stay in B-8 a lot, the only time I'm really there is if that sector has recently been hot with convoy activity, if I'm commuting, or if a chase leads me through there. Otherwise there's as much of a chance to find me there as, say, Bractus E-2. If you find me roaming the universe, however, I usually will not turn down a fight unless I am on other business (which you will know I am if I don't respond).

AGT-flare proms are still powerful tools, but they appear so rarely as to be a not-problem. Anyway, AGT/flare is easy to counter if you have a good distance-control ship, or are aggressive with flares yourself..
I'm not sure how to answer #2 as I dont know how long ago you've played. Sunflares are 12 ammo, 85m/s, 1500 damage right now.

As to sedina B8, it's become kind of an on/off thing. Recently there was a large furball, but those are kind of rare. In the case that there is REALLY no one there, Fights can usually be had if you wait long enough. Pirates have become rather prolific and you'll probably see one or two on your tour through greyspace.

Like Spedy said, AGT/flare proms are easily countered.
About B-8, if nobody is there you can always ask for a fight on 100.

valks or other light ships with ravens and other light guns are 5 times more annoying than agt-flare proms! and proms aren't used anymore anyway.
also, everyone dodges way too much cause they're stupid and then cry when i sometimes run off bored (or almost dead, cause i didn't dodge, hahah!)!

i hate flares, so random. On the other hand, I miss the MGC. From what I've seen so far at B8, a nice MGC would be in order to splat people. The only problem is of course to level up enough to actually buy those. Bah. *unsubs*

Heya Gav, they indirectly nerfed flares by removing friendly fire restrictions. I'd say flares are balanced now. Agt/flare proms are still dominant in 1 on 1. But their difficulty to use in group combat along with their inability or pursue runners has lead to them becoming quite rare. And Niki is still a ninneh.

I'd say the running valks are more worthless than the prom. They run around while other ships engage and do the work. They fail to engage.

1) Hah, they never were, they were just boring to fight cos it took a while to peck em down with energy!

2) Yes, flares got a *nerf* they do double damage backwards now, and the prox triggers were adjusted. This made rocket ramming harder with sunnies, but still possible if yer aim is true or ye can back away fast enough, with stars and ice, its not so much an issue, as it's really easy to damage yerself in a rocket ram. Also the ammo count got reversed. Ice get 16 stars 14 sunnies 12.
