Well, it's technically true. No higher-level members of TGFT actually trade; they just run escort missions since it's easier to make money by exploiting broken game features than by actually trading.

The whale represents TGFT as an unstoppable giant of intergalactic commerce. The mostly darkened planet represents all the resources TGFT has procured and the Death Stars™ represent TGFTs willingness to go head to head with Spielberg over potential copyright infringement.
