According to multiple independent sources, CLM and other denizens of greyspace staged a blockade of Sedina last night in response to a large trader incursion in the area. The battle was neck-and-neck for a short period, but the blockade taskforce gained total area superiority after about 20 minutes. After the majority of the intruding force had been pushed back into nation space, one particular TGFT member continued dying over and over again in various ship configurations. Corvus analysts estimate that the total economic cost to TGFT was over 10 million credits in ships and weapons, in addition to the 50-100 million they could have made exploiting bugs in the economy if there were no guns in universe.

A member of TGFT (who spoke on the condition of anonymity) said "It's ridiculous! These pirates have guns, and they won't let me run XC's full of bugged-out trade goods through Sedina B8. Instead I have to cower in Dau, where my exploits only net me 1 million credits per hour (unless there's a particularly good one going at the time, of course). We need to remove all guns from the galaxy, now!" A CLM spokesperson commented "Shoulda paid!"

In an interesting shift of tactics, the ITAN wing of the Itani military sent a large portion of its tactical assets to assist in fighting the blockade. A spokesperson for the Serco Dominion State Department said "This turn of events is quite favorable for us. While the Divinia-cheese eating surrender monkeys are busy getting killed by pirates in Sedina, we took over Deneb!" Itani officials did not respond to a request for comment.

Ooo, don't forget how several traitor Serco from ONE were fighting alongside the ITAN pilots against the pirates! Could a new era of peace be at hand?

I was wondering what was going on last night. I blew past a couple of CLM pilots in my Taur making the Sedina-Dau run.

And yes, Serco and Itani occasionally work together to a limited extent when the need arises. The enemy of my enemy is not always my enemy.

But Serco and Itani ARE enemies! To the death! They've both massacred each other's civilian population and have been at war for a loooong time. Pirates are just there chilling around.

Seriously you guys....

The fact that Serco or Itani forces attempt to exert authority inside Grayspace at all is an offense to the autonomy of Corvus, Xang Xi, Tunguska, Ineubis, CLM, The Syndicate, and all independent pilots who operate outside of the scope of the nations in this galaxy. It makes little political sense that the forces of the Itani and Serco governments would collaborate to make this assault, which leads me to believe that some other force has compromised the leadership of ONE, ITAN, or both.

The consequences of this kind of assault will be... unfortunate, to those who perpetrate it.
