OK, it was officially a mess, but hope it was fun all the same. Nation War is for it's own sake, but if any need another reason to get together and fight, I suggest a family reunion. The teams:
Itani: Fanty & Mingo, Morgan West
Serco: Aelius Sejanus, Keria willennium, Lars Marona, Schelling, Tad pole
UIT: Boran Mur, Breazle, Ecka Estenk, Faustino Bashkir, Gerty
Grey: Azrael, Blood Thirsty, Chaakin Tockoa, FusionBurn, TheBlackFlag, Yoda
All told, it was a very close fight. Grey made a strong showing, and thanks for that. I'll suspend my tauntings of you here and henceforth, provided you will forego all mention of yourselves and your deeds on account of your prized ambiguity. Lemme know.
To all: Sorry for withholding the prizes, but I couldn't make a clear decision in good conscience. Next time around, the pot shall be all the more humongous, unless I get drunk in Vegas, in which case, you should contact my accountant.

I dunno, I just know I got shot in the ass by a 8==D, and although I exploded, I don't think he did. XD
This nation war, like previous nation wars, was disrupted by peytros. However, when he jumped in he was usually quickly dealt with by those present. He was not the main problem this week.
This week, the main problem was that practically the entire Grey team was shot down while trying to deal with peytros. Multiple people announced on sector chat that peytros was there and that everyone should turn their attention to him. I killed him twice, and was shot while typing, trying to better organize getting him out of the sector again. Several others in the Grey team were similarly killed.
No, there is no rule that says when peytros or any other disruptive, banned member shows up people have to stop shooting each other. But the whole point of NW continuing was that the community would police the event, saving it from being killed by a griefer. That people then shoot us in the back while we are engaging said griefer, trying to kill him so that everyone can continue the event, speaks strongly to the possibility that the community doesn't deserve uninterrupted NWs. I enjoy nation war, and participate frequently, but this kind of activity persists I will do my best to persuade people not to participate, one way or another.
You want to have a community event? Fine. Just don't shoot the rest of the community in the back when they try to help you out.

Since when has being a git diqualified ye from nation war? Peypey actually asked to be included in the nation war, and I supported him, but he was rejected.

Sorry but there is a limit to what any communitiy should tolerate. If you flagrantly disregard the community rules then you have no real right to expect the community to allow you to participate. VO has neither prisons nor a death penalty nor can we banish Peytros from our company... We can exclude him from NW tho....
PaKettle's right, but as AoD said, shooting people in the back while dealing with peytros is utter bollucks. When people say "Peytros is here, everyone shoot him!" and turn to deal with peytros, turning their back on everyone else, its not nice to shoot them.
It is not always possible to determine what anyone is doing during a NW. Calling a time 0ut so the intruder can be dealt with is not practical....

Now, the NW is hosted by one or more players. He/she/they can freely invite whomever they see fit. If you want to include peytros, host the NW.
