Afaik, said contraction has got no clear spelling nor usage in proper grammar, seeing as it's a jargon and has many variations like KTXBI or KTHBAI. Have I lost you so far? Ok, moving on.

Its humor, like in all those LOLcats phrases, lies on its fucked up grammar and mispellings. Ex: I can has cheezburger, buckit, i hurd u liek mudkips, etc.

So yes, I was wrong in trying to correct you and in doing so, i failed. However, you failed harder trying to demonstrate the correct usage for such a contraction. Specially by linking to web sites where grammar and spelling are not a concern. Btw, the issue in question here is not the usage but the spelling.

The humor or usage of KTHXBI was clearly never at issue, nor did my response address those aspects: how it was spelled was your point of contention, and I limited my reply to it. Try googling "ktxbi" and you will be asked if you meant "kthxbi"; likewise, the number of hits for each shows a massive disparity in the preferred spelling. I'm not saying my usage was the only one ever practiced, merely that [1] it is the predominate one across these here interwebs, and that [2] you are an idiot for "correcting" me.
