All citizens are welcome to race, there is no entrance fee, and 6 Million credits in prizes are available. Some of it could be yours!

Once again, the rules are:

1) Racers must race from Odia M14 through Deneb heading clockwise back to Odia M14.
2) Race starts in Odia M14 near the station.
3) Contestants must be within 100m of me before the start
4) No shooting before the race starts.
5) You die and you're out (so no /exploding)
6) All weapons and ships allowed, except those listed in #10.
7) First person to get back and dock at Odia M14 wins the first prize. (3 million credits)
8) Second person back gets 2nd place prize (2 million credits)
9) Third person back gets 3rd place prize (1 million credits)
10 Valkyrie ships are not allowed.
11) Attempting to trigger a false start of the race is grounds for disqualification.
12) Money for killing other racers: Any pilot, racing or not, is eligible to earn money as follows:

Pre-condition #1: There must be at least 3 racers
Pre-condition #2: Less than 3 racers complete The Deneb Run
If the above pre-conditions are met, the undistributed prize money will be awarded to those who killed the racers as follows:
- Kills in the Odia M-14 sector are not eligible
- The most recent eligible kill earns the highest unawarded prize money (3 mil, 2 mil, 1 mil, or 0)
- The 2nd most recent eligible kill earns the 2nd highest unawarded prize money (2 mil, 1 mil, or 0)
- The 3rd most recent eligible kill earns the 3rd highest unawarded prize money (1 mil or 0)

Please note that this week's race is one hour earlier than the normal "early" slot.

My UDP/21141 packets are dropped along the way to the game server, probably due to some misconfigured routes, so I cannot play, let alone race.

I say it in advance, so people can avoid to lose money by betting on me (both this race and the championship).

I've heard reports that the Artana Aquilus/Divinia wormhole is experiencing difficulties at the moment. This week the DR will be considered "cancelled", and we will use the CSR route instead, which goes clockwise through the following systems:

Odia -> Sedina -> Latos -> Ukari -> Arta Caelestis -> Dau -> Nyrius -> Verasi -> Edras -> Pelatus -> Bractus -> Odia

So, to summarize... this weekend we'll be having the 22nd Corporate Sectors Run. Next weekend will be the 110th Deneb Run. Results for both races will be in this thread.

Due to the cancellation of DR110 all bets were off (as per the T&C). In the interests of fair play, all punters have the option of either:
- roll over their bet to DR110 next week (I will honor them at the original odds)
- ask to cancel them and get your stake refunded.
at your choice.

However, since we wanted to give something back to our clients, we still held the mini-Lottery. Random number 13 was picked by our independent auditor, Ecka Estenk, so 1 lucky bettor wins the $1.5M prize. Next week we will also be issuing lottery tickets to punters, for free.

The Deneb Run will begin in an hour. I'll post both the results of last week's CSR and this week's DR at the same time, which should be sometime on Sunday or Monday, depending on how much work I get done this weekend.

Same event, same problem - I cannot play VO anymore. So don't count me.

Istamir Sol - Itani pilot. He's been racing a bunch recently, and he has consistently done well.
luckydog - Serco member of SAF. This was his second race.
Spaceranger - Union member of TGFT. He used to race a bunch several months back, and has started up again.
Jestatis Bess - Itani, Commander of ONE1. He races frequently, but not always.
Waldoze - Union council of TGFT.
MiexonBionic - Union pilot, Commander of PA. He races from time to time.
Cranston Gorky - Union pilot. He has raced a few times before.
sheffield - Serco pilot, member of SCAR. This was his first race.

==Observations==
1) Out of eleven racers, only four finished. Fairly deadly race this week. Kills credited to a variety of pilots including Mecha Touriuas, look ...no hands, Omega 0 and the SMV Ferrandis.
2) New rules are being enacted next week, partly to combat issues that arose in this race (Sora, I'm speaking specifically about you). I will post separately about them.

The next Deneb Run will be in the LATE slot.
