Jul 11, 2007 davejohn link
An excellent Thirteenth Midweek Nation war , very good turnout .

The Itanis:
Jestasis Bess
Rentaghost
Harpo
Oleksiy
Foo Fighter
Freddie freeloader
Tao Pai
Shaded

The Sercos:
Nautargos
Enders
Ahriman
Beelsebul

The UIT:
Ecka
Lennenk
PredatorOC
Waldoze
Kat
Ion
Torcho
Mick
Hentai Jeff
Naismith
Irodeol

A fun NW , excellent combat action. The Itani and serco engaged rapidly , classic valks vs proms for the main part .The Itani team held well, but mobile fighting , good cordination and a medic service proved overwhelming , all 11 uit survived!

First time thats ever happened , UIT even had a couple of players who had only been playing for a few hours

The 11 surviving UIT ( aye , all of them ) split the 8 million TGFT / John Eldritch / Jestasis Bess/Rentaghost sponsored Prize .

My Thanks to all the newer players that joined in , practice and kill me next time ;-), if I miss somebody off the team lists shout at me and I'll edit .....

The wins:
Itani 9 Serco 3 UIT ah , 1 at last............but what a win....

Same time somewhere in Latos next week

Thanks Ecka for hosting

side note: we itani have learned our lesson not to trust the uit in deals. I thought they were more honorable then that but i guess i was wrong :(

Thanks Ecka for hosting, and everyone else for participating.

From my pov, UIT kept itself detached from the main furball (proms in the middle, valks on the closest orbital), mainly because a lot of our players had no clue whatsoever about what was happening around them, and the veterans were very aware about the risks of slinging themselves in the jaws of enemy.

Throw a medic in the mix (thanks Lennenk!), and the wait-and-see approach seemed to work.

Sorry if we broke any deal, but that was probably due to failure in communication.
I for one wasn't really sure if we had any deals.

Besides, you have to agree that a deal with Itani wouldn't benefit us at all.

So the two largest teams made a deal to go after the smallest one? Doesn't seem like that deal would've benefited either side anyways. Sounds like the UIT had the right idea =)

Jes, I don't think you should be talking about honor when it comes to two largest teams trying to conspire to team up on four people lol.
