Doesn't sound too bad. If we all agree then we can keep it at 2mill in prizes with each of us donating 500k per event or we can double it with 1mil per event. Just throwing estimates out there.

Sounds good to us. I'm not sure what PA or CDC's budgets are like, but we're ok with either keeping 2 mil in prizes and donating 500k per event, or upping it to 4 mil and donating 1 mil per event. The downside of keeping it at 2 mil is that if some of the hosts don't show, the prize decreases unless those that do show agree to pick up the slack.

CDC's budget is more than ample, and I suspect PA's is as well; for the CDC upping the prize to 4 million wouldn't be a problem. As for sponsors sometimes not showing up in time to hand over their part of the prize, this happens often in the Deneb Run and is not really a problem: like you said, the sponsor present fronts all the cash at that moment, and then later collects from the other(s). So far, all sponsors have always honored their pledge, so it's okay in the end.

I say up the prize, between 500k and 1mil there's really not much difference.
