Yarrr.
I hate Daylight Savings.
Presenting the results of the 84th Deneb Run:
The Racers:
Katrina Le-Feir - Union Racer, PA Councilor and rapidly rising star of the circuit.
Blue Streak - Itani pilot, member of the CDC and the best Deneb Racer in the history of the event.
Mick - Union pilot, member of PA and another top-notch racer with a number of wins under his belt.
Kragmier - Union Pilot, Councilor of SYN, this was his first race.
Miharu - Itani pilot, Commander of SSC, races from time to time but always places.
drazed - Itani pilot, Councilor of ITAN and recent addition to the circuit; this was his third race.
The Results:
Mick | 27:57 | Vulture MkIII, FCPC, no weaponry
Katrina Le-Feir | 27:59 | Orion Convoy Guardian Hornet, FCPC, no weaponry
Drazed | 30:10 | Orion Convoy Guardian Hornet, FCPC, no weaponry
Blue Streak | 31:02 | EC-107, FCPC, no weaponry
Kragmier | DNF | EC-107, FCPC, no weaponry
Miharu | DNF | EC-107, FCPC, no weaponry
Observations:
1) Very close race that divided into two groups, which were at most one system away from each other. In the first was Mick, Miharu and Katrina; the second was Kragmier, drazed and Blue Streak.
2) Sad day for the EC-107 and its bid to take over as the premier racing ship. Only one of the three finished the race, and that one didn't place within the top three.
3) No less than seven pilots went after the racers: yoda, MysticRogue, CrazySpence, Temmin Shard, firsm, The Huntress, and Amaranth. Temmin Shard went solely after Blue Streak for complex OOC reasons we won't go into (pointless and boring), and as a result Blue Streak put 10 million on Miharu's head, which firsm happily collected. Kragmier was killed by Amaranth, while Blue Streak lost his chance at third place when he decided to repair after The Huntress shot up his ship.
Next week's Run is in the late slot, so see you in one week!

it is very hard to hit such fast moving targets!
I'll be back next week hopefully with more hogs!

True, CS. But they are moving in a straight line - that's the entire point of the run! ;)
You chipped away 12% of my armor when I met you, and only because I let off the turbo and start strafing some.
Again, thanks Joyce for hosting and everyone else for running - and firing at runners.
