When looking at the player "Faction" ratings, some of the Faction information/bios are present yet some are not.

Are the developers accepting content for these such places or are they just going to follow in future updates?

Or are they just supposed to be all mysterious and unknown?

Yep. It's a "work in progress."

One of the things that Incarnate holds near & dear to his heart is the backstory and the storyline of the game. It's safe to assume that he'll insist on writing most of the descriptions for the factions, stations, etc. himself. Which is probably the way it should be.
