public apology
Right. I have very little skill in the area but I feel I should do this.
@ Bidi baba: We were never the best of friends but i feel this last round has gone a bit too far. I have acted on my opinions and beliefs, and I am not going to take that back, but the way I have gone about it has not been anywhere near the best way. I have acted more aggressively than I should and have not always thought through my actions.
We are on opposing sides and I'm not here to claim I regret all that I have done, but as I think about it I have always more thought of those sides as sides of a coin: not meant to really be on totally the same side but still not so far apart, rather than the opposite ends of a colosseum...
I like your belief in your own opinions, even if I don't always agree on the opinions themselves, but we always seem to get into a fight (which I am here to admit was in a fairly decent part my fault).
The long and the short of it is I apologize for my behavior and the way I said it, but I still believe in the underlying reasons for our disagreement.
Alright, as I read this it doesn't sound like a massively good apology, but its about as good as I'm going to get. I have never been very good at getting my point across and on apologies even less so. You may have to meet me halfway..one more go at at being friendly enemies?
P.S.: Anybody else butt into my gruff apology and they eat hot pirate blasters...

(I am unfortunately far TOO adult, went for a 14 mile (2 were accidental... long story) hike to the active vent of Kilauea (Pu'u O'o), and my blasted knee went out... I feel like a 60 year old already.)
