Shape: the symbol SHOWN is the "therefore" symbol. The one on Miharu's forehead is the "because" symbol... the "therefore" symbol rotated 180 degrees.

Actually the symbol looks EXACTLY like the aiming laser from a Preator creature, usually just before some kind of spiky projectile is fired at awesome speed through the targeted head:
