Recap and Remnder:
This is the first major organized circuit racing event in Vendetta Online history, hosted by the newly founded Vendetta Racing League.
This first historical event is formated with a lower speed formula, where only stock EC-88 vehicles will be allowed to race inside these tube courses.
While these vehicles may seem slow in typical space travel, six racers will reach speeds approaching 540 kph inside these tight courses.
Competition will be tight, and racers will be reaching high speeds in these narrow tubes only fractions of meters away from each-other!
With prizes up to 1,000,000 credits, this event will hopefully attract more pilots to future racing events, where speeds will be increased, and stakes will be raised!
This event will meet tomorrow at 5pm GMT at Sedina, sector D-5 where the qualifiers for the final race will commence.
Contenders will be broken into groups and race through D-5, E-5, and F-5 once each. League points will apply to the qualifiers the same way they apply to the final event.
The final event will be a total of six races through three courses. two for each in D-5, E-5, and F-5.
The winners will be decided by whoever has the most league points at the end of the event.
League point system:
1st place: 10pts
2nd place: 6pts
3rd place: 4pts
4th place: 2pts
5th place: 1pt
6th place 0pts.

*sigh* (It turned out I couldn't make it)
DAMN YOU REAL LIFE!!!
Still sounds great though, I hope enough people give it a shot (I was skeptical at first but it is a blast!) so that the next one that I can attend will be even bigger. I'll be with you guys in spirit!

An extremely tight competition between Niki, Mick, and Phaserlight. The first two races were extremely close, and one pilot even bit the dust. After the D-5 race completed Niki pulled in tune and won every following race, but the competition between Mick and Phaserlight stayed uncomfortably close throughout the entire Event.
Joyce Sanders and Nuthou5e consistantly maintained their positions in each race and there were a few times that it looked as if they might break the cycle.
VRL would like to thank all participants in today's event, we look forward to seeing you in the next event!
