-Note from Scuba-
I do fly under this character ingame, and have angered more than a few Serco...upon which I've been ganged up on and killed. It's not a problem, but be forewarned: When I am playing this character I am most definately 100% in-character, or at least as most as possible at the moment. I'd apologize, but hey, as Mace elegantly put it, I'm a tit. And this somewhat ties in with Miharu's story. If there happen to be any spelling or major grammatical errors (You can deal with little ones, such as my overuse of commas,,,comma,,) just kindly post it and such.

I can't believe I'm actually doing this whole journal thing, but I've been meaning to write down what I do during the day. At least I think I have been, there are several dated pieces of paper littered about my room in Jallik that tell me to start writing things down. Anyway, as in introduction of myself to myself: My name is Drift, or at least that's what the Itani Medlabs have christened me. The medlab says that I was found adrift in Deneb a few days ago. They also say I have memory problems wherein I can't remember anything from the day before. That should set me up for a good half hour of denting the nearest bulkhead once I read this.

Onto today: Went down to the storage room that was reserved for me back on Jallik to see what I had there. The medlab tells me that things are reserved through a small chip in your palm. All it holds is a number so there's no way to figure out what my actual name is from it. The reservation process is a quick swipe across your number when you dock with the station.

I spent nearly the whole day rummaging through the massive amounts of piled up junk I had in there. By the time I untangled myself from the crates of power cores, datapads, stacks of holodiscs, and suspiciously unmarked tubes, I was already late for the appointment with Medlabs I had called in earlier.

I was scolded lightly by Medlabs personell for my tardiness, and then they ran some tests on me. I have no clue what they are testing for, nor do I care. Being ignorant of my problems keeps me happy. I sense Medlabs is growing weary of me though, when I walked in I was handed a printout containing a dialogue between me and a couple of Medlabs techs, outlining my memory problem, what they already tried to do for it(Generally resulting in my death and requiring me to be recloned and the two implants in my neck to be replaced), and how to access the stuff I had reserved about the station using my number.

It was quite late by the time the techs had finished their tests on me and I had made my way down to the hangar that was reserved to my number. I hate asking people for directions, so I had made a brief stop at my room, where I found a map taped to the left of the air-tight bulkhead door. It makes sense that I would leaves clues for myself that I would find the moment I needed them, so I generally trust these scraps I find.

The map led me down to hangar bay G-24 wherein I found an impressively large ship, painted white and blue. I also found another note taped to the ladder, telling me that this beautiful ship was called a Valkyrie and loaded on it was a good six tons of highly explosive sunflare rockets as well as outlining the procedure for launching it.

I remember some things, not many though. I remember up to when I was around the age of four, where I was told never to talk about where I'm from right before three sockets were drilled into the back of my neck and three 2mm wide pentagonal boxes, I assume some form of microchips, were inserted into the holes. Beyond that is a massive blank. However, I can remember two years of grueling flight training before those chips were inserted. It seems a bit cruel to make a small child undergo such harsh training so early, but it was mandated by my parents so I had no choice in the matter.

Oh dear, I've gotten off track talking about things I can remember. Anyway, the rest of my day went as so: I climbed into this Valkyrie, pushing an interesting picture involving a norse lady out of my head, and headed towards Sedina B-8. Don't know why I was going there either, but it was written down on another piece of paper taped to the speed readout of the ship.

When I arrived in Sedina B-8 there was noone. I drifted about for a good half hour before getting sleepy and then docked at a nearby Xang-Xi station. I would dock with the Corvus one, but Medlab techs told me that Corvus pirates would slit my throat in my sleep and sell my kidneys on the black market. It would be a bad thing to happen, even if I wouldn't remember it once medlabs got around to recloning me.

I've killed none of the enemy today. I have some sort of instinctive hatred towards Serco, and as I walked to my room on Xang-Xi I just barely succeeded in pulling out my blaster and shooting a heavily modified Serco that I sighted entering an elevator at the end of the hall, opposite the station's bar. I was told by Medlabs that I should kill the Serco wherever I see them, but I don't want my throat slit and my kidneys stolen during my stay at Xang-Xi. They're probably manipulating my feelings when they tell me to kill the Serco, but that's fine. It's sounds like a damn good idea to me.

Nothing much to report today. Was able to destroy a few Serco in the nearby Sedina B-8. Their wreckage turned up no clues. Not disappointed though, they were fighter pilots and one wouldn't expect them to have anything worth scavenging anyway.

Sitting in my rented quarters at the moment, placing notes for myself around my room for tomorrow. Itani medlabs says they decrypted and decompressed what was on one of the two chips. It was classed as "sensitive material" so I'll have to make a quick trip up to Jallik. I think I'll rummage through my storage once more tomorrow, maybe I have some spare implants I could play around with.

Oh, I almost forgot to congratulate mr_spuck, a UIT pilot who flies inside a Serco-based guild. He managed to turn my Valkyrie into scrap on his own. He was flying a Corvus Marauder with three sunflare rockets onboard, the same loadout I seem to favor. Our battles were quite intense and I enjoyed the explosions around me. As a note to myself: Learn to dodge rockets better. The Valkyrie is sometimes bigger than I wish it would be.

Ah well, it gave the Itani Medlab techs up in Jallik another chance to experiment with cloning me again.

As as a side note, I seem to have been recruited by [IA] today, and Miharu(Who the heck is this?) is going to leave some contact info with Medlabs so that we can chat later.

Ugh, headache. Just noticed I hadn't wrote to myself in the past couple days, must've had a bad run over in the bar module of the station over the last few days. I seem to not be in [IA] anymore, or maybe I never was in the first place. My conclusion: Either [IA] sucked and I decided to leave it or I lied to myself to make myself feel better later. Oh well, today I think I'll sleep off this massive headache...feels like I've been hit with a concrete chair. Ugh.

Didn't manage to get out today. The moment I walked into the common module I was led an office near the main Medlabs module. It was the single most impressive thing I've seen since I went through a wormhole my first time, at the age of two and four months. The walls and furniture were made with real wood, not the fake synthwood crap everyone uses, and the whole room had a pleasant piney smell to it. There wqasn't much else to note, but the wood...jeez.

Wood is a rare thing for anyone in space to see, the real stuff, since it's so heavy and expensive to bring up. Sure, you might have some synthetic trees in parks, and maybe even real ones if you're in one of the capitols, but actual wood wood that is used to build things...just awes me. Sounds wierd, but hey, wood is wood.

Anyway, I was called into the office concerning what Medlabs managed to decode off a copy they made of one of my chips when they had cloned me. It wasn't all that much, just my memories from that day. Sadly I spent most of that day sleeping and killing hive bots over and over and over and over to gain license levels, probably to match some note I left for myself.

Medlabs say this might hlp them restore my normal memory functions, but I doubt it. Somehow I get the feeling that the missing chip(there seems to be three slots in my neck, two are filled) is completely different in design. Also, I was offered a job by Medlabs. Seems something fishy is up and my piloting skills are needed for an assassination.

Now normally I don't think I would get mixed up in this...but they are paying me a lot of money..and are offering to reclone me for free for the rest of my life(takes a bit of cash to pay for expenses). That and it's a meeting between Itani, Serco, and UIT. Can't pass up any chance to kill Serco. Nor any UIT that won't be attacking them. I'm told if I take this job I'll be flying with a UIT pilot, can't remember his name for the life of me and it's a really wierd one too... I'm supposed to meet him on the fifteenth, so I need to remember this...sorta.

For some reason Medlabs though it would be a good idea to put me through several painful experiments today. None of which turned up anything, of course. Ruined my whole day, didn't once get out into the void beyond my window. My body hurts too much to sleep too.
