There will be a BLAK sponsored race, The Deneb Run, on Sunday at around 1:00am gametime (According to my /time) in the game. This is 2 hours later than the last race.

Rules will be:
1) Racers must race from Odia M14 through Deneb heading clockwise back to Odia M14.
2) Race starts in Odia M14 near the station.
3) Contestants must be within 100m of me before the start
4) No shooting before I start the race.
5) You die and you're out (so no /exploding)
6) All weapons and ships allowed.
7) First person to get back and dock at Odia M14 wins the first prize. (1 million creds)
Second person back gets 600k
9) Third person gets 400k

Put your name down if you're interested. I won't start it with less than 6 racers.

I will only play if ghost is not in. Hehe, I can't compete with his excellent rates of entering sectors (read ping).

I am in. 8PM tonight for me.
I will be running in the TGFT-sponsored Valkyrie Rune with FC Battery.

Unfortunately, I will be away on trips during this race and again next weekend. After that, I look forward to racing Gavan and all the others again.

Results just in from race #3 of The Deneb Cup. Silentsuicide had an amazing run to overtake _Ghost_ near itan and come in first. _Ghost_ almost caught him at the line and finished just 8 seconds behind in second. Lebermac came third in his TGFT sponsored Valkyrie Rune and Gaird came fourth after a terrible run from Divinia to Odia. Apparently he found quite a few unmarked asteroid fields on the way. Broma-Ba Slick looked like he'd be fourth with a solid run but hit an ion storm in Odia N14 and ended up in 5th with Roguelazer 6th after having managed to hit an astronomical number of ion storms on the way. Look for a new post about race 4 next week, same time, same channel. Special thanks to Holden Caulfield, our roving reporter, who braved strike forces and many other odds to report on the race from the front lines. He recorded this interview with 3rd placed LeberMac.
