Not that its a problem, but is there a timetable as to when the next update is going to come out. I'm just wondeing what parts of the in progress are coming to fruition ect. Again, this is not a complaint, just wonderin whats up/new.

We're shooting for a tentative release on monday. But it's really tentative.. as we're doing a lot of wacky development that might not quite.. go right. But, that's the ballpark, if all goes well. It would hopefully feature the new AI underpinnings as well as some new capital ship features.

Things have been quiet in part because of the ongoing ISP migration.. stuff. After moving our servers, we then needed to figure out how to keep connectivity at our office. Plus I'm spending a lot of time doing server tinkering to bring the whole wiki-design-doc thing online. Plus you should be seeing a release on Tuesday (tomorrow). I'll look at updating In Progress tonight. "

Oddly, even though I haven't been able to play for the last few weeks, I still look forward to each and every update. Go, go team Guild!

There should be an update this week. Really, honest! It should include some AI stuff that.. may not immediately be noticable, but I hope it will be (it's more foundation-level stuff).. and some rather neat additions to the existing cap ship. The cap ship work hasn't really been utilized yet, but we're working on a mission structure to do just that.
For me personally.. I'm actually working on the Wiki design doc. It isn't ready for public consumption yet (I just got it online uhh.. today, well, yesterday.. ugh, it's 3am? jeez). Anyway, once it's properly populated with some actual.. design.. then I'll post something about it. I'm really excited about this whole wiki design thing, I think it's gonna be super cool for everyone.
So anyway, hang in there. Ray and Andy were shooting to release tonight (well, yesterday.. night, you know what I mean), but were prevented from releasing by some show-stopper bugs cropping up. As soon as those are fixed, you should see a new version.
