Will we make it?
Well its getting down to the wire now. Tomorrow officially makes one month since the In Progress has been updated. A full 30(31?) days since a major update? I think I might go nuts. lol.
Now for the truth. Honestly I know the devs are working really hard. Probably much harder than I would. For the most part the current In Progress still has some things to be finished. The main one is obviously the cap ship. We have been kept up to date with News posts however so we arent totally in the dark. Actually I saw the cap ship the last time it appeared.(Unless they showed it again and I didnt know about it) I trust the devs will get to it eventually.
*edit*
yeah I know this is kind of redundant but hey. y not?

Yah, right now most of there time is being spent working on the Cap Ship, it was ready last week except on the release server it unearthed a nice large bug that crashed the server. I'm sure whatever is next on the list of things to do is awesome.
The devs had at least a couple *major* initiatives on their plate with the cap ship and wiki-based development plan being two.
With the cap ship revealing a significant server bug/flaw, the dev team is wise to take the time (and perhaps even a deep breath) in figuring out the issue, fixing it and testing (and re-testing) things. It would be nice (but not crucial) to have a brief update from the dev team on their next test run ETA... even if it is in a couple of weeks.
As for the wiki-based development plan... wow, that's an ambitious endeavor if I ever heard of one for a four person project team (there's nobody else working on that doc?) who is in development *and* supporting a live application. That type of documentation could take a team of four at least a month or two (several hours each day) to craft and release.
Our (the playerbase) patience will be worth it.

Hear hear LeadFist, well put.
