Tonight myself and some other brave and nutty pilots tried to rid our sector of queens! With Poops trusty EC88 and the rest of the rag tag crew we coordinated and decimated! We're gonna do it again tomorrow!! AND the next day!

We killed 14 Queens in 3 hours! ROCK ON!

I was involved in this for a short while. It was great to see such a fun team effort. I'm glad you all enjoyed yourselves.

Now you should do some group mining to fund your next queen safari.

1 high energy but high efficiency (damage per energy) weapon, and the rest are rockets. Rockets will decimate the large pack of guards and assaults if you fire back at them while back circling (not roll). Use your single blaster to take down the queen. I find this better than trying to only take queen out with lots of missiles.

What do you think are the best missles for taking out queens? I still need to kill 24 of them....

Geminis as s port missles. All others don't do enough damage or plain suck.

Swarms or stingrays for the l port

Stingrays are nice becasue they are pretty light. That way you can get the health of the queen down with energy weapons and make the final blow with the stingrays from the distance.

My preferred combo is the axia wraith (or any other if not available) ... axia posis/or n2 and stingrays/megaposi

I've used rag mk2 (light varient) with 3xYellowjackets and 2xChaos Swarms, usually get the queen down in about 3 loads, and take about 60% of the guard bots with her when she blows as collateral damage. But that's just me.

Last night was my first foray into Queen hunting. I polished off my first 2 Queens with the help of tumble's well co-ordinated crew. I fared well with the Wraith MkIII with 1x YellowJackets and Plasma HX's... a little slow, but a nice attack platform for my skill level. Those guardians are tough though... had to learn to strafe attack and run away.

Can't wait to do it again!
