Ok don't laugh but here we go.

Since I am an alpha-betaplayer(deuh :D), what part of any of the strategyguides/faqs/wikiguides would you advice me to read before I re-enter the game?

cheers

Welcome back to the fold Renegade ++RIP++. For the most part, given your past experience with Vendetta, you should be able to handle just jumping right in. You will notice a difference in how ships handle but the interface really hasn't changed since the public BETA.

Read about the special faction items. You'll need to decide what factions you want to focus on first.

Now we are talking rene =D

Welcome back ingame, and its still changing, just as you get used to how things are, they pull another update =D Why I love this game so much, and after today, I feel like a big kid again =D

Although having the cap ship shoot just gauss was kinda weird, and it didnt have any turrets, and had obvious movement issues, just seing the damn thing move was excelent, and has made me want one even more =D even if its just to fight around at first =D

The behemoth is a traders best friend.

Tyrdium,

I am first going to observe in game acts before I am going to decide on a faction.

And yes there might be a chance that rene goes serco depending on how serco is doing. If they need more newbies, then I think rene will be right at his place ;)

Although I really wish that the backgroundstory for the serco would be more benevolent then the antisymphatetic twist that it has received now. Or just some minor faction that has a benevolent nature, I would just be happy with that.

PS: which nation has the most pirates :twinkling eyes: ?
PPS hoax: I'll probably start with the lower end equipment and work my way up, just as every other newbie has to do first :D. And who needs special equipment anyway, they just detract from your skill :D. Which I need to build up anyway. So probably I'll go for 1 - 3 months without any of the special equipment just to get the hang of non-uber items.

If you play at my speed it will take you that 1 to 3 months to get a faction item anyway. You may as well focus your trade runs and botting in an area you want to gain points with.

Actually what hoax is saying is true, I was not too bothered about other faction standings to begin with, but even with the new guild missions, I personally still find it a pain in the backside to level faction, as I have no other reason to trade but faction, im maybe just lazy, but a 7 to 9 jump precurement/delivery ? 1 a day is enough for me =p if I was leveling at the same time, great, id be +999 everywhere now...

[Edit]

Your ALL Serco anyways, why resist?
