The new wiki is powered by MediaWiki which is what makes Wikipedia tick. We switched over to MediaWiki because it was much better than what we were using originally. The old wiki was meant to be a easy to navigate FAQ, glossary, and ship database, which as you can see it is now much more than. When I first made the wiki I was looking for one where all I had to do was upload and use it, no setting up of MySQL. This of course limited me to very few wikis out there which don't have as many features as the ones that require MySQL.

So, yah. Enjoy!

Are UIT a nation? I thought they were a faction too... Just recognised as a senate, id change it, what do you think? hmmm....

Yup.

It's better because it uses a much more complex syntax. Actually, it's better because its user rights system is much better, as in certain people can ban people who misbehave. Also the old wiki, since it stored everything in .txt files, did not allow more than one person to edit the same page. Which means one person could be working on one section of the page but another person, who wants to work on a different section, can not.

if you dont mind, i edited the guardian vulture from the unknown level, to 4/4/-/-/- because it is the requirements to obtain it, just trying to help out :)

Of interest I replaced all the ships pages ugly images with pretty images. Which I think look much nicer.

And yes, please feel free to edit anything, just don't do anything inappropriate.
