"Waylon is moving forward with his new-bigger-ship design"

Funny I was just thinking that a bigger ship does not necessarily mean Cap ship. Larger ships with co pilots and/or manned towers would kind of be the next ligical step.

A Rag with the option of a gunner would be fun for instance, or medium sized destroyers with multiple manned turrets.

Teams would have to form at a station sort of like a temporary tiny guild, the leader is the 1st pilot and he assigns positions to his crew.

Is any of this in any design docs? :)

You're right, it's not a capital ship (a.k.a. The Frigate). It's a mid-sized ship in between the Ragnarok and a capital cruiser. The rumor mill says it's a cargo ship.

Long term, I believe player-manned turrets are planned. I doubt the new mid-sized ship will have them.
