I'd like to request that the devs post somewhere..all the music ever used in and currently being used in vendetta somewhere, so we can listen to it. Or will this make copyright problems? I really wanna hear all the music.(especialy the old stuff)

As a1 stated the last time this was posted by somone, Suggestions forum. The new music is copyright Strategy First, and not Guild Software, which means that they are the ones who need to clear the copyright issues.

And knowing corporations, that takes time, effort, paperwork, managerial decision, discussion and changes of rules. Like, Give away stuff for free? Come on!

And frankly, I'd rather have Incarnate & co. working on the game than beating their heads at management over such a pesky issue as this.

I'd love to do a soundtrack, but yeah, the fact that we don't actually *own* the music is a little problematic.

I could help you. I know a couple of people who you can buy some VERY moving music from. I still Program someetimes and there are a lot of Talented musicians who would sell you the rights to their music for about $500 and the music is good. Want me to post a sample?

The Program is called Gamemaker at http://www.gamemaker.nl its on the forums under Music for games. You could post that you would like some music for an Online Space game and tell em AvP sent you. You have to be specific though. Their music is good and i will post a sample soon.

I've been making many styles of electronic music for about 2 years with a partner. As soon as I get my new mac I'll try to come up with some tunes for vendetta. To be 100% honest, the first tune i heard in Vendetta knocked my socks off (the current first login one, I remember when vendetta had no music at all) and strategy first did a blinding job on the vendetta music (especially the Serco fight music), but as the game grows, who knows? I think the initial thread was about getting the current playlist burned to cd (I have this, me polishes alpha badge =p) or in another format for download, but alas, the current music is not the property of guild, nor will any of your peices of work (unless you explicitly give the rights, and reserve none), ect ect, but community work is never shunned here, make your music, if its wanted, it maybe used... ...if not you can use it yourself with the /playmusic and /playlist commands =p
