I don't think they'll be a guild... just some sort of mission strings which lead let you become a semi-pacifist who can put a sheild around a ship with your mind alone.

Its a bit unfortunate right now that there's no reason to have "Defense forces". There's really no way for an Order of Eo to have anything to do ingame.

The Cap ship offers a certain degree of opportunity in this regard, but in a sense, the mentality is anything but defensive, its not as if the Cap ship will push forward into itani space.
