And yes if the forgive command would be in then I don't really think that any intervention of guides would be necessary.
Anyway genka, I concur partly with your statement, but if no harmfull intent was intended by the offendor then I do not see a reason for him to get punished.
aka: if there is second proof that a murderconvict didn't kill the dead person/was involved then you are not going to punish him further even although the first sentence was stated as guilty. You'll just make sure that the person gets out as fast as possible to make him back into a productive citizen (somebody paying his taxes).
