Yeah, I know this symptom too.
It used to be the case with a valk vs vult, where the valk -up close- makes jittery movements that don't really register on the screen. They jerk around too much for things to be really playable when they get below 50m.
The cents are worse, there is only one way to deal with it.
Ram them.
Why? You can't disengage, they are fast ships. You can't turn and dodge, since you don't see your opponent regularly.
The autoaim of the GT is useless at this point, since your opponent isn't inplace enough for shots to register a lock.
Ram them and let them whine.
