new Vendetta video in pre-production
As in... I'm planning one out.
I'm going to center the video around CtC and show off some of Vendetta's PvP. So for the next couple days if you see a UIT player named "CameraBot as.ra-1.6" hanging in and around the Serco convoy, please don't (intentionally) shoot him.
I know there'll probably be missiles and rockets flying all around, and I'll do my best to avoid them, but yea, please don't do N3 strafing runs just for the heck of it. Although I'm thinking that I'll probably end up asking some players to shoot me down after the fact for insert footage.
I want to show PvP action with some sort of storyline, and it seemed to me like CtC was the place to go for that. I'm choosing the Serco convoy for several reasons. One is that I can take both CrippledPidgeon and the CameraBot along the entire route and get lots of diverse shots. I suppose that I could create an Itani character and take the Itani route, but then that means I'd have to level up TWO characters, and not just one. Besides that, however, I feel far more comfortable with the Serco convoy because that's the convoy I know.
Yes, I am going to script the action, but I've decided that I do want a contiguous "story," even if it requires several convoys to get all the footage, and all the angles. There are a couple shots that are necessary to be staged, but when it comes to fight footage, it'll all be live (unless I decide I need a shot of someone "killing the camera man," in which case, that'll be staged :) )
So again, please don't kill "CameraBot as.ra-1.6" unless I ask you to because I'll be gathering footage, and getting killed will only prolong the process.

If you want really good footage press F4 to turn off everything, I.E. no chat, targeting recticle,etc. Just what you see, it should make for some really nice shots.
