This may be nothing but before the last patch I was +999 in serco faction points and when i did a trade missions i would be told faction improves slightly but since the last patch when i do serco missions there is no mention of the faction points. Am I maxed out now for some reason at +999 or is there a problem ??

It takes a phenominal amount of work to get from +999 to +1000. You wouldn't see any change in doing a single mission, or even in doing a dozen missions.

You are still earning points, but they are fractions of a point. So your standing is probably going from 999.01 to 999.06, and while you are increaing your standing it doesn't show up as a change in the displayed number.

i understand from +999 to +1000 its moving in very small fractions of a point but where my concern is is that before the last patch when i did a serco mission i was told that faction imroves " slightly " and no matter what that " slightly " was always mention after each mission , now its not mention at all .
But it is mention when i do other missions for other factions .

Humm, I think I get what he's saying. No matter how small of a fraction of a faction point you get for doing a mission is should always say "faction improved slightly" but he is saying is isn't saying anything.

THANK YOU !!! That is exactly whaat i am referring too , why it no longer says "faction improves slightly" ..I was at +999 before the last patch and when i would do a mission ( serco ) i would always get that msg. no matter how slight the improvement.
But now since the last patch and still at +999 no matter how big or how small the mission there is no mention of faction points.All the other rewards are there but no mention of faction points.

After a point, you stop getting faction points from "little" trade missions. You need to start doing huge (bulk) missions that are a million systems long and would normally give you huge standing (~100) in order to get any change at all.

Thank you Solra Bizna and thats what i finaly figured out by taking a 20 jump bulk mission . I guess after the patch i had passed that half way point of the +999 lvl where nothing but super long bulk missions are the only thing that are going to register plus I found out that they drop the points we recieve by 60% in the last patch . Well thank you all for trying to help me with my little mystery
