Devs?
Do the devs participate in this board?
Being a new player who hasn't started pay-to-play yet, I'm somewhat leery of downsides brought up here and the lack of official comment, specifically in the area of the CtC discussion. How rapidly are problems addressed? If there are significant imbalances in the game, how will the powers be correct them. Is this the norm with regards to dissatisfaction among the player base?

devs have nice red names.
Hi!
We're usually pretty quick about addressing problems, but things slowed down a little over the holidays.

You would be hard-pressed to find a more responsive development team anywhere.
I would point out that Vendetta was released in November and still has a lot of content to be added. It's fun now, but it's not finished by any means.
Sometimes users disagree with the direction that the developers have chosen, and those users can be quite vocal. The devs DO want your feedback and opinions, but they can neither use nor respond to every morsel.
Know that the dev team has a vision for Vendetta. This is their baby, and they want it to be awesome. Bits of the vision are revealed in the News and In Progress section as things progress. Sometimes the direction changes as opportunities and issues arise, which is why they post every few weeks with their short-term plans.

also if you notice it is rare to finde a thread where everyone agrees. As such most of the sugestions will be eithor desreagarded or only partly implemented because the devs have to prioratise based on what problems are the worst, and what new features are the most desirable.
(Not ment to say the devs ignore us just that they would have to be fools to loose days of sleep trying to implement a change that only a couple of people see any need for)

You may want to get your balance of opinions from the Role-Playing forum. Most of the folks who like the game drift over that way, plus it shows off more of the backstory and lighter side of the game. Most other forums are dedicated to directly addressing problems (Bugs, Win/Mac/linux forums), or preceived problems (Suggestions). And let's not forget that if someone's happy with the game, they tend to, you know, play the game instead of posting in the forums.
And the Devs are indeed quite active on the forums. I like that about them- they're very proactive on helping folks get up and running. Though they do occasionally overreact to something- just shows that despite the Royal Red, they're still just a bunch of guys ;)
