Faction Loss in relation to Guild Event
I've read the FAQ and have played VO for a few months now, but have not seen this come up. I also did a quick search on the forums, so if this has been asked before, just post the link to the proper thread.
My guild is looking foward to having a Guild Event soon, that may entail combat of some sort. I know you don't loose faction for dueling someone, however if it's a free for all event or a "Squad A" vs "Squad B" type of event, how does one prevent faction loss?
My understanding of PK faction loss is that the faction loss only occurs in sectors (not systems) that are monitored by a faction, IE stations. If that is the case, does that mean empty or unmonitored sectors do not create faction loss, even if inside of a factions system?
Thank you,

correct godsize. A sector that is not listed as monitored causes no faction loss.
Most of the empty sectors in the universe are unmonitored, making them good places to have the type of combat you are wanting to have.

if all the participants /group together, there will be no faction loss, if I remember correctly.
This Guild Event may be some fun after all... >:-) And here I was thinking all we be doing is mining and trading...
