i knows this has been posted before, but something needs to be done with trading XP... i know it was easy to get lvl 1 trade very fast, but i am past that, (lvl 7)... and at this rate it seems i will never ding again in trade. combat and others are at lvl 8 and 9... but trading moves way too slow. at this point system i will be combat piloting, light and heavy weapons level 20 and still be under level 10 for trade... i was thinking on a different way to give trade xp... based on levels... say at lvl 1 - 5 trade u get 2 - 5 points of trade per item/ore sold... level 5 - 10 of trade u get 5 - 10 points of trade per item/ore sold... and so on. or somewhere around these figures... while it was easy to ding in trade before. now it's impossible.... i would have to haul items and ores to stations for the next month to ding... while i can easily get at least 1 ding of combat per day if i wanted to... please increase the number of trade given based on level, or overall. 3 points of trade per ore gets me nowhere when i will need to get like 100,000 points of them.

Timisoara9: there are these things called "cargo transport missions"

try them. at level 7 you should get ~600-900 trade XP per run based on the distance you have to travel.

Take some extra cargo along in whatever space the mission doesnt use in your hold.

EDIT: wait:: you're getting trade XP from selling ore?! Tell me you havent been leveling your trade with cargo you gained from mining. If so, you have chosen the absolute SLOWEST possible way to level trade.

If the Valent was trade 11, and a much larger trade vessel was at 15, I'd be happy.

i used to level trade with selling mined ores. before they nerfed the trade xp. was getting about 300 points per man. now it's too slow. i am trade lvl 7. i haven;t tried any trade missions lately. thanx for the pointer. can u tell me where it's best to take trade missions from, what sector? i am serco. thank you.

I'm Serco too, and level 7 trade (or was it 6... I don't member) any way you can get good trade mission any where, they are the best way to get trade xp after they nerfed the other ways. I like to do my trade missions in UIT or grey space that way I can get my faction standing up with some one else at the same time. Or in the case off grey space getting attacked adds some fun to the vary dull trading missions...
