Mainly about post tsunami relief efforts. A very noble cause.

sorry for the sarcasm:

could you see this thread turning into a war to see who can donate the most water? ex: "I bought 25 bottles." "Oh, well I bought 30!" "Oh yeah, you think you're good? I bought 63!" etc.

that would be kind of cool. Vendetta players donating thousands of bottles of water.

[edit] the above wasn't ever edited, I thought it might sound a little sarcastic and get on some people's nerves since this is a disaster, not a happy event. But since it didn't sound like that, you can read it however you want.

Was there sarcasm? If so, it was edited away. Anyhow, I'd love to see this turn into a competitive donate-o-thon. Fun for us, but they're the ones who truly see the benefit.

Awesome to see them try and help out. A great salute goes out to Guild. I bought 10 as well. As I took a quick look at the TV a moment ago, it was up to 118,000 death toll. It's said to say, but it's said to be doubled that by the end of all the diseases and such. God be with them.

That's about 40 9/11s in terms of sheer body count. Incredibly ugly.

Bought 10 bottles just now. That's 30 so far... come on Vendetta, can we make it to 100?

Just to clarify, these are bottles of water purification tablets, not bottles of water. These are much easier to ship than actual water and will prevent disease by killing off harmful organisms in whatever water they have available there.

Unfortunately, they don't remove particulate matter, and if I recall correctly, they also don't remove chemicals. Agreed, though, they're better than nothing.

20 more bottles on there on there way!

Keep it up...it's the most we can do for those less fortunate, facing what must be indescribable hardship and suffering.

My heart go out to them.
