orbiting chaos swarms
Get close to an asteroid. Target it. Point your nose at just the right angle beyond the 'horizon' of your little asteroid. Fire your chaos swarms. they will shoot off into the distance, trying to turn to hit the asteroid, but never turning enough, instead, they end up making 1 or 2 orbits, flying right by you, before they peter out. Big fun.
I remember something similar done back when race tracks were first introduced to ven...
Although I can't remember the player's name who did it first (if I said the one I'm thinking it was, there's bound to be someone saying "Oh that, I did that waay beforehand..."), it went something like this:
Target yourself (Do this by cycling targets, forgot the keys, methinks it was "[" and "]")
Fire some swarms.
Get buddies to watch you play atomic model.

I started doing it after watching scuba steve do a couple. After a while, I was the only one left...
It was especially fun to get some unsuspecting newbie to sit still for a few minutes and then watch his or her reaction to the beeps

I used to do this way back when.
those are my fireworks. try a rag, 2 chaos, 3 firefly. (firefly looks cool)
i have yet to test any real use to self targetting missles

It'd protect you from people who want to ram you (in the sense of ship touching ship), sort of like those rotating shields in the arcade shooters.
Then again, who would do that (except for people who try to kill each other's vults by wingbugging them)?

doesn't the size of the roid matter? considering that swarms have a particular turning speed?
Getting a Rag packed with fireflys and Swarms, targetting a Wormhole and shooting the whole load at it looks pretty too :D
wormhole, pretty smart move spuck. we can get loads of people to fire at a WH. plus, i suppose you can scare the **** out of people following CTC.
hahaha sounds like a plan, lets do it! :D
wormhole's the best idea I heard. since you can't actually hit it :)

Asteroid? Who said anything about asteroids?
It's so much fun with an unsuspecting Itani who has the instructions of 'Definatly don't move.'
