Helio is 20, I'll have to mine Pentric sometime to find out. I know where 1 roid is for sure. Tentatively i think its 18.
Pentric is definately 18.
ferric is more often in sharp edged rocks, while carbonic in round rocks. silicate is also in white roid (knuckle bones).the rest that are unlisted are in sharp edged rocks (I sure havent seen any in round). Also, the lone pentric roid i know is tan like sandstone. OH, and silicate is common in those tan ones. Also note Van Azek is somewhat rare within the normal roids. About 1 in 6 is my estimate, and in many opinions, the hardest to prospect.
Fnugget i wanted to hold off on being specific about rock appearance for another time because I cant be sure of it. For example, you feel 'sure' that pyronic is in 'sharp' rocks, but it is also in round. I feel 'sure' of other things, but I bet someone else can prove me wrong. A more detailed post on rock appearance would imho take a lot more work and organization of information. This is supposed to be a simple list. I bet it already contains errors as it is.
I know what you mean about vanazek, but i couldnt figure out a good categorization scheme for that, so I kept it simple.

Hmmmm...Role playing?
There's a couple fairly rich (but small) clusters of Van Azek in Dau. They hide themselves well among the junk though...
I'm personally having problems finding the rarer ones: Apicene, Lanthanic and Pentic. Know any good sectors to find this stuff. Thanks in advance.
urk, no thread necromancy pls XD
Apicene can be found in Odia (beware pirates, though)
Lanthanic... Try latos/sedina. Odia also has some deposits.
Pentric, hmm. I'm not sure where to find this particular one, sorry

Thanks for help on the first two.
Awww, I miss Martin and anazi
Pentric is present in great quantities in Verasi.

doktor lekter is a miner!!!
Gotta know where to go to shootz teh minerz, nikster!
A couple errors I detected, as notes:
Denic is also found in blue ice.
I've found Pyronic in certain rocks.
yheCarrie, Pentric is found in Azek almost as much as Verasi, and Azek has a bit less hostile bots. Lanthanic occurs in hundreds of asteroids in Odia, along with Apicene.

Y'all forgot about Samoflange which is a huge secret.
Shhh! United Widgets does not want competition!!
Hmmmm...Role playing?
Hmmmm...Community Projects?
Hmmmm...Community Projects?
What I want to know is where can I mine "Unobtainium"?
I agree with yodaofborg: put this in community projects or RP, but beware sharing all this on the forums: you'll find your favorite rocks boiled and ebil pie-rats will come a calling while you are refilling your vodka & tonic thinking you are safely mining all alone!
