Can someone explain me how the calculation of the number of bots that you have to kill to get combat xp during the advanced combat mission works ?? Atm I need to kill 8 bots to get combat xp, while others (higher in levels than I am) need to kill less bots. And yes, sometimes I got killed but that didnt have any effect on this number at that moment. It hasnt gone up.

There was a bug in that missions, where players could cheat the system and get less bots to kill with higher levels. That should be fixed now, if the update message is telling the truth... did you saw that after the last update? Then write a bug report.

Yes I did. It went up fast from 4 to 7 and then 8. There has nothing changed since last patch.

well, 8 bots seems to be the highest botcount per round. And Prosus the highest botclass to fight.
I think you will reache that at level 8 or so... The amount should not grow then anymore. That is at least my experience...
And of course a player with combat over 8 should not be able to exploid this and kill less than 8 now after the patch.

I have 9 bots per bonus :( It keeps growing beyond that, sadly.

I don't think so, I have 3/5/3/2/1 and only need to kill 4 bots per bonus. Of course, this is increased if a bot kills me or if other people are in my group.
