I've been playing Vendetta for a week now and I have an idea for a new guild.
I want to gather as much information about all the stations in the Universe. Starting with the Itani systems (I’m itani) and eventually moving to UIT and Grey Space.
I want to compile information on the type and cost of trade goods (ore, plasma, regulators, etc), outfits (weapons, mining equipment, etc), type of mine able ore in the sector, and ships available at every station.
We can use this information to get the best price for our goods in any system. We'll also know what ships and weapons are available at every station.
If the stations price for a particular item only fluctuates when players trade, we will have an accurate buying and sell price for any trade goods. Even if we have information that is 12 hours old it better then having no information at all.

I'm pretty sure every trader keeps a basic matrix of stations and commodities. It's part of the job! Now what would be really keen is to be able to sift through a large data pool and find high-impact, circular trade routes. That's the kind of job a trade guild could handle, because the information net would have to be pretty wide and up-to-date.

I think the hardest part is getting the information. Finding a way to easily sift through it and make it usable should be easy though.
I just need alot of people to make this work. I couldn't do it alone.

You may want to look in to dWo it's a new trading and mining guild. I can't tell you much of what we have or don't have, just due to the fact that I don't know what I can and can not tell. But I do know (and can tell) we could always use a good scout.

You should also check out the player guild pages. You might find a guild that shares the same interests.

I checked out the guild pages and the websites of some of the guilds. (I can't access all the webpages becuse i'm at worked and some websites are blocked).
I haven't found and guild that wants to get trade information on every station in the universe or one that might be big enough to get that information, yet.
I was hoping that if i set up some kind of survey form Everyone who plays the game and is interested in knowing updated information would contribute. It would only take a couple of minietes to find the information and write it down. And this is something that even new players can help out with and gain accurate information about the universe.
I did some emails that seem promising which i'm looking into. But i really need everyone to help out. You wont really have an advatage against other players but you'll never have to wonder what items are in demand in the divinia systems either.

I think for the goals you are stating, you should follow the advice already given and join one of the existing guilds (who are probably in need of an organizer like you seem to be). Once that's done, just request that guildmates send you their notes on commodity trading.
