Any of you out there who are pirates, is there an actual benefifit to piriting? Do you make money off of it or do you blow ships up and just leave the cargo? Is it any faster to make money than just trading? Do you get any level experience from your kills at all?

Its hard to make money pirating, and to be honest? If your looking for money, go trading... ...Personally (unless your a known runner) I demand cash after either a) shooting your ship to around 5% b) chasing you to a station, or c) all the above. A few pay, as they dont want to loose mission/cargo, most dont, they either try shooting back (good, i like this) or run again (frustrating sometimes) - I also try not to pick on anyone, ie, if i have killed you twice already, and its obvious you wont fight back, i get another target/area to patrol =)

You get a slight increase in combat xp for killing a high leveled player, you loose it for shooting very low leveled players, if its xp your after, go botting, however, if its actual experience your after, sure, go hunting =D

The thing why they pirate ios because people get frightened of them, they are 'the evil guys' and that stuff :P

Actually, i hear that this DarkCreed guy from beta is pretty badass, if i remember correctly him and yoda used to rule Azek J-1 i think it was, too much fun, i might have to come back and start up some more cargo liberation runs :D

And also, i dont bother with J-1 anymore, and CLM died :o( ... Plus, its easier to just kill em right outside the stations, they cant run away then =D heh
