Yipe! I meant velocity. Well, that should teach me to stay on topic and not drift off into a rant. Killed the vector rant bit.
Those are some quality diagrams, like it a lot!
Are there binds that people recommend for helping with this stuff? I've seen "evade1" through "evade4" in the custom binds thread I think. Is binding an evade pattern a useful thing to do?

I've been known to bind my corkscrews, and they seem to work pretty well, as long as I'm in something as light as a Centurion or a Marauder.. I've had bad luck in heavier ships like a Ragnarok or Warthog...
I now came to the point where I have 3 combat, and found a sector in UIT space with only tycorp assault ships.
I have been using some tactics people posted in here, but find it increadebly difficult to get those bots in 100 meters range. I am using neutron blasters and they are very inacurate over 100 range.
What should I do to get them within 100 meters, are what weapons u recommand that have accuracy over 100 (up to 150 at least then) for killing bots with.

I just used the neutron blaster, the trick is to not dodge too much, then the accuracy is better.
Hm, I generally engage bots at around 300 m with a fair success rate. Sure, you don't land all your shots (especially if you have poor aim like me) but you get at least a second to dodge incoming fire. Once I find a rhythm that hits, they go down fast even at longer range.
The neutron blaster is VERY accurate below 200m. However, if you're spinning around (like I see lots of people doing), you degrade your accuracy by probably 90%.
I also found if I'm strafing to the left I need to aim a bit further to the right to get into a sweet spot.
Generally I try to aim a little off center in the direction opposite the movement of my ship.

for those people who just cant seem to be able to roll well while strafing and shooting i have another option. You can use all of the strafe buttons (A,D,R,F) and easily avoid all fire. By using the alternating pattern (R,A),(A,F), (D,F), (D,R) you can aviod getting hit. This strategy has also worked for APU-5's for me as well as Tycorp. These movments will avoid fire from your target as well as his wingman.
