No. Just find another player and start shooting. You may want to be careful doing that, because some people do hold grudges. If you participate in Capture the Cargo, PvP is all over the place.

also if i want to attack another player from another faction . do i have to do the duel thing or just shoot him lol?

Just shoot him, but your obviously pretty newb. Keep in mind anybody you shoot out is bound to have a much better ship, guns, and battery.

Your likely to become debris pretty fast.

only been playing a few days, i like the game but fighting bots all the time is a bit tedious

It is once you gain some skill at it. Be prepared to die a lot at first.

One last bit of advice Odd. Try and have a lot of cash banked before you start hunting people. A good ship as tricked out as I can make it using pirate station equipment is running me about 30k atm atleast that is what my 4 neutron gun Hornet cost me.

Well rampaging across the galaxy killing people at random (or trying to at least) is not the main idea of PvP, unless you're a pirate, but then you had better be dang good at combat.

Tune to #201/202 ('/join 201' etc. in the console) to find out where the convoy is, or when it's starting. Then kill anyone not friendly to the convoy. Be sure to set your home station somewhere nearby because you will die a lot.

Seriously, PvP is a whole different level of play. Bots are nothing compared to a decent player. This is true in any piloting game. So for a while, just find someone who is good and ask them to duel for a while. The point of duels is to practice without faction loss or grudges. When you can kill a good number of people dueling, then you can go around looking for fights.

Yeah, or at least let the victim know your intentions, if you find a miner you want to fight, shoot him to 20% or so, chase him to a station, if you must, and let him get some guns... (no fun in shooting people unprepared to shoot back, and if they seem Away From Keyboard, do me a favour, line your ship up under them and push them out of range of the roid? heh)

First you have to find other players. Vendetta gives you the realistic feeling that space ist big and lonely.

Once you've gotton good enough at PvP then go around Azek J1. I always find a person floating around in there. Or a nice round of CtC. feel free to msg me in-game (CyborGamma)if u want a little training.

Vendetta is a ver great game, but what it needs are definitely more players.

Not that there are traffic jams, but 1000 players in the actual universe would be very great i think.

yeah but you know wuts gunna be funny is that soon after you get your satisfaction of players, people are gunna start to complain theres too many people on. lol. this is just a thought.
