There have been a number of good community projects that are worth taking a look at. The General forum gets the most attention and even the only attention of many of the players, so I thought it'd be a good idea to give a few projects some recognition.

The thread contains the site, so check the thread out. This one looks complete to me. If any of you players want to trade something, it's a good idea to use this site to compare two stations. Stations usually give you a lot of profit for items that they don't sell.

does anyone have a database of asteroids?

It would be neat if there was one, and if there isnt, I can do some scouting for one if someone wants to make it.

epadafunk do you mean a database where you can go and find a specific asteroid with a specific ore in it a specific system and sector? Are you trying to shortcut the prospecting mission? Its better to find them yourself if your doing the missions. especially since it gets you to EXPLORE the galaxy sytem and sectors to find them all. (this is not meant to be a flame) as I am one of the people working on the prospecting missions and current over half completed. its lots of hard work and i am documenting it all. when i finsih im going to get screen shots of the different rocks to go with my list and it will be posted to my guilds home page. and if i figure out how to make a page ill post it seperately also. if im in game anad online just ask if ive been to the system ill let you know what you need to know also. i usually play 1-4 am pacific time since i work nights
